SALT LAKE CITY – July 19, 2005 – Marty Evers, Chief
Financial Officer, of United Mergers and Acquisitions (UM&A)
received the prestigious Certified Business Intermediary
(CBI) designation during IBBA’s Conference For Professional
Development in Tampa, Florida.
Evers was awarded the CBI designation after
demonstrating superior knowledge about the functions and
applications of selling businesses, documenting practical
experience, and participating in a rigorous curriculum of at
least 60 credit hours of Association courses.
“I am delighted to have completed the course
work necessary to receive the CBI designation,” said Evers.
“I feel this will help me service our clients more
effectively.” Evers has been with the firm since 2002.
UM&A has six team members who hold the CBI
designation. Michael Drury, Managing Director and founder,
